Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Wii U Patch Before & After

Some of the changes are very good while others have nurfed the recoil on some of the automatic weapons. Whatever happened to the time when a game released and it was finished and you could just enjoy the game from start to end?

The Cave - first 10 minutes

With the game only being $14.99, it might be a good choice to pick up. Reviews have been solid as well.

Full Wii U GPU specs coming soon?

So you thought those dev kit specs from 2011 were enough to satisfy most die-hard Nintendo fans? Seems that's not the case.

Chipworks  has full scan high-res photos of the Multi-Chip Module without the heat spreaders, that can be downloaded for $200 dollars each from the website.

The guys at NeoGAF are collecting funds to purchase the scanned photo of the GPU die (see the "Chipworks" link) in order to finally dissect what exactly the Wii U GPU is capable of or have a much better idea of what it is besides an "AMD HD Radeon GPU", it might turn up slightly inconclusive or it could finally close the matter once and for all this subject.

It doesn't look like the donations are up to anyone other than NeoGAF members so you'll just have to wait and see what develops. Here is the post from the technical discussion on GAF concerning this: Wii U tech

Dr.Tre makes a good point

Hi guys, this is the first time I'm posting a video from "Tre" but he makes some points worth noting. Does Nintendo get bashed undeservedly? In relation to the Nintendo Direct that Nintendo just released last week, he talks about how basically there are people that just flat out hate Nintendo to the point of being unrealistic and short sighted about it.

"X" Debut Trailer Analysis

Here is a 1080p version of the trailer as well

More and more this looks like Xenoblade 2, which would be amazing and very anticipated to say the least since the first game was most likely the best JRPG of the last generation.

The Wonderful 101 - New Trailer

This game looks even more fantastic than how it was first shown back at E3. These are the types of games the Wii U needs to keep itself far removed from what the other consoles are offering.

Resident Evil: Revelations Unveiled Edition coming to Wii U

SAN MATEO, Calif. — January 22, 2013 — Capcom, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, today confirmed that Resident Evil® Revelations will release at retail for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft®, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, and Nintendo’s Wii U™ system across North America on May 21 and Europe on May 24, 2013. The title will also be available to download digitally on PS3™ and Windows®PC for $49.99 on May 21, with digital versions for Xbox 360 and Wii U system to follow.

The fear that was originally brought to players in Resident Evil Revelations on the Nintendo 3DS™ system returns redefined for home consoles complete with high quality HD visuals, enhanced lighting effects and an immersive sound experience. Furthermore, the home console version will deliver additional content including a terrifying new enemy, extra difficulty mode and improvements to Raid Mode such as new weapons, skill sets and the opportunity to play as Hunk and other characters from the series. Raid Mode, which was first introduced to the series in the original version of Resident Evil Revelations, sees gamers play online in co-op mode or alone in single player taking on the hordes of enemies across a variety of missions whilst leveling up characters and earning weapon upgrades.

The critically acclaimed survival horror title takes players back to the events that took place between Resident Evil®4 and Resident Evil®5, revealing the truth about the T-Abyss virus. Resident Evil Revelations features series favorites Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield, plus their respective BSAA partners – Parker Luciani and Jessica Sherawat. The action begins on board a supposedly abandoned cruise ship, the ‘Queen Zenobia’, where horrors lurk around every corner before players head for the mainland and the devastated city of Terragrigia. With limited ammo and weapons available, the race is on to survive the horror of Resident Evil Revelations.

Resident Evil Revelations will take full advantage of Residentevil.net with content available to users once the game launches. Players can pre-register on the service from January 24 to gain early access to Resident Evil Revelations themed content with further information about online events to be revealed closer to launch.

Nintendo Force Magazine Debut

Just when you thought Nintendo Power was dead and buried, we get a spiritual successor in "Nintendo Force". It looks a lot like Nintendo Power with many of the same/similar type of features. What's so cool about this magazine is that it was made from the fans and by the fans of Nintendo. My old friend Kevin Cassidy from GoNintendo is one of the members of the crew at Nintendo Force. If you get a chance to see the magazine on news stands be sure to check it out!

Killer is Dead revealed - coming to Wii U?

This game has been confirmed for PS3/Xbox 360 but one has to wonder when a Wii U version will be announced. Looking at the screens, the game seems to be some kind of sequel to Killer 7 with a nearly identical art style only with a ton more detail. Seeing how poorly the HD ports of No More Heroes sold on both the PS3 and Xbox 360 you have to think a Wii U version will have to be released since Suda 51 games for some reason have always sold the best on Nintendo platforms (even Shadows of the Damned sold extremely bad on the HD twins). Keep a close eye on this game if you are fan of Suda's wildly creative game style.

Gamesies Episode 5 - Wii Must Find U

Hey guys, here is up and coming Youtube show "Gamesies", I suggest watching the show since it's done very well and they are looking for more viewers to get them going. They like all consoles but seem to definitely favor Nintendo over the others, just like how it should be!

Miiverse's Talented Artists Revealed

If you own a Wii U you know all about Miiverse. What I find amazing is that everyday when I turn on the Wii U, someone has drawn another amazing piece of art on one or many of the Miiverse activity feeds for individual games or applications. Nintendo should really consider making some kind of contest for best Miiverse art on the Wii U, how about a free downloadable game on the eShop for the winner?

Netflix Super HD coming to Wii U

Netflix Press Release:

Netflix Super HD and 3D

Now available through Open Connect partners, Netflix Super HD is the highest quality video format offered by Netflix, providing an even better picture on 1080p HDTVs.

In the U.S., Netflix is also for the first time offering a small number of titles streaming in 3D through Open Connect partners. Available for 3D viewing are, among other titles, the action fantasy drama "Immortals," Red Bull Media House's snowboarding documentary "The Art of Flight," and a number of titles from the Discovery/Sony/Imax joint venture 3net Studios - including the native, original 3D series "African Wild," "Scary Tales," and "Live Fire." Depending on member demand, Netflix will consider adding 3D titles and expanding availability to international markets.

"These new Super HD and 3D formats are more challenging to deliver than our other video streams, which is why we will deliver them through Open Connect," said Ken Florance, vice president of content delivery at Netflix. "Any ISP that wants to be able to deliver our new formats can do so easily and for free."

Netflix members can verify if their ISP is part of Open Connect and provides access to Netflix Super HD and, in the U.S. only, 3D on this Web site: www.netflix.com/superhd

ISPs that are not yet on Open Connect can contact Netflix at openconnect.netflix.com to start their Open Connect relationship. As part of Open Connect, Netflix is also sharing its hardware design and the open source software components. These designs are suitable for any other provider of large media files and are very cost efficient. Netflix Super HD will be available on PS3, WiiU, Windows 8, Roku, Apple TVs with 1080p, and select smart TVs and Blu-Ray players. More devices coming soon.

Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor's Edge - Another Video Review

There are already a few video reviews of this game out on the net but this one seems to capture what the changes were very clearly. I'd look for this game to sell quite well when the expected price drop hits in a few months.

Borderlands 3 Coming to Wii U?

A humorous interview, but Randy seems to be a Nintendo fan at heart and inspired by what Miyamoto has accomplished. Borderlands 2 didn't make the cut for Wii U due to timing and some other factors, but it seems that if it's up to Randy Pitchford, part 3 would make it to the Wii U in some form.

Darksiders 2 - Wii U Puzzle Gameplay

If Zelda like puzzles are your cup of tea, you might want to give this game a chance on the Wii U. It seems to have a few graphical glitches like screen tearing for no apparent reason, but the rest of the package looks top notch.

Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor's Edge - Kasumi Gameplay

The new DLC has been out for a little bit for NG3RE and this is the latest character you can use the game. It's nice that they made the characters different with new moves and different play styles, otherwise it would be equal to just playing with a new costume with the original main character.
