Conduit 2 - Debut Trailer

This game looks very much like the first one, which is very disappointing if you ask me. It looks flat, uninspired and just unprofessional. High Voltage looks like an ametur game developer when you look at Goldeneye in comparison; the reason is that Activision has been making FPS games for a long time and know what they are doing and in Goldeneye the tech they are using is probably not as good as the Conduit 2 but the game still looks better. Go figure. I'm still not impressed by this though.

My thoughts exactly. Reading in forums people praise this game and say that more shaders are applied and lighting is better, but I think that the only thing that stand out are some of the character models...

I was trying to put my finger on what the graphics are missing and it's a few things really. Flat level design, everything has a squared-off look to it. Bland textures on all the levels structures. Jaggies all over the place and bad color choices make this game look very "bargin bin" and low budget. I was expecting a bigger improvement over the first game but this has the same issues. I'm hoping for a lower price since no one is going to notice this game when it's released. I'm expecting 60k in sales for it's first month since everyone will still be playing Goldeneye and Black Ops....it's a shame for High Voltage.

I think the visuals have improved - but compared to Goldeneye and Black Ops, they have some serious competition. Headset a plus. I'll probably still buy it.

remember the conduit 1 had some terrible pics than when i got it the MP online had super scrisp graphics just level design was awefull so i think it could be mint lets wait and see feb2011 i think they set it back because they want more polish after seing Goldeneye wii and knowing Black ops wii will be even more polished than goldeneye because of the nature of the title WW2 ect visuals get the treatment on those games so sega have to give high voltage more resources and money i think maybe leave it till Q2 so they can get the game looking as good as it can

High Voltage Software seems more interested in cosmetics rather than art design in graphics, which is why the game looks bland. But then again, isn't this a multiplayer trailer?

While I think it's true, from what I've seen of Goldeneye and this game Goldeneye looks more impressive, I think it's funny you guys are all okay comparing it to Black Ops. We haven't even seen a single screenshot of that game yet. While we maybe able to assume it will look good, we really have no clue yet.
