Nintendo NX - Vulkan API is Console & Mobile Compatible

I didn't realize that this Vulkan API is just one API that works with smart phones, PC's and consoles, it is truly an amazing breakthrough for gaming performance.

Basically, say you run a game like (just for example) Star Craft 2 with Open GL on the NX and performance may get a bit choppy with over 500 objects on the screen at once, the same game and same NX hardware without any kind of GPU/CPU upgrade could run Star Craft 2 at nearly twice the performance (once optimized of course) when using the Vulkan API. Not only that but the mobile version of a game like Star Craft 2 could also run on the NX Portable using the same Vulkan API with down-scaled performance.

the downside is in these reports, the AMD GCN dedicated optermized code was stripped out,i think if vulken NX will have a version with this in why would your api not support dirrectly your chip set...

you cannot get closer and higher than to the metal coding, some benchmarks have shown powerpc 750 family of cpus gaining 20 x the performance by doing this and people wonder why nintendo used a customized ppc750

20x lead in performance with hand writen code is insane, vulken will work on every mainstream gpu cpu i think nx if vulken will use a priority version as the original vuken api was mantal based and GCN opermized...

i didnt realize vulken was mantal until this week...opeb gl cl based code is getting very old i still want to see REAL CODERS LIKE SHIN'IN or another factor 5 type company code these devices to the metal...

iv seen vulkens very cpu efficent push both the gpu and the cpu show us what these chips can really do
