A Look Back: The making of Rogue Squadron 2

How did an amazing game developer like Factor 5 go out of business? It's seriously one of the biggest losses in the gaming industry in the last 6 years. They made a name for themselves with their Gamecube technology that made their games look just as good if not better than anything on the original Xbox. One can only hope that Nintendo will be able to resurrect some form of the company for the Wii U.

It's amazing that one failed PS3 game could take down such as company like Factor 5. I'm usually not superstitious, but I'm starting to believe in this "Nintendo curse," a curse that afflicts companies that once worked exclusively for Nintendo. Rare hasn't done anything worth paying attention to since Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts; Silicon Knights is losing ground in their lawsuit against Epic Games; and Factor 5 has gone bust.
