Wii games: what works and what doesn't

The Wii has become known for it's on-rails shooters but making a game like Ghost Recon an on-rails game is an insult. Forcing the issue is not going to make the game better or more rewarding. On-rails has been a proven failure on the Wii for the most part besides House of the Dead. Call of Duty: Black Ops represents what developers should have been trying to do with the Wii since it was released in '06. Better late than never I guess, I just wish it wasn't this late.

so true metaldave the industry is a joke and dont get the wii, black ops is getting it right ,ghost recon for your gran is getting it wrong, epic mickey looks like its getting it wrong whilst donky kong gets it right, imagine COD sales on wii if they did this from 2006 with advertising also,no excuse big sales big profits theres no such thing as a casual console it doesnt exist wii is mainstream not casual console and has destoyed ps2s sales records 1 console for all to enjoy is how it should be ,be it wii fit 2d platformers gta or fps,dvd players play kids cartoons to hardcore porn as does the tv set,so saying 1 console is casual and another core is mindless fanboy meltdown and internet based crap that doesnt exist in real life

If I wanted Time Crisis on the Wii, I would get Time Crisis on the Wii. I haven't seen any news on the Wii-version of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, but, oh my lord, this looks horrendous. To think Ubisoft showed some improvement with Red Steel 2, and then they come back and do this. I hope to god they don't do something like this with Rainbow Six if they ever plan on releasing one for the Wii. Say what you want about Activision, at least they show some effort with one of their big titles.
