Call of Duty: Black Ops Wii - online video
The person who uploaded the video was using the classic controller, so that is why it doesn't really look like the Wii game in terms of control. You can get online with no problems actually. I know a lot people can't get on and it's not a server glitch but a game issue that Activision needs to patch soon. You need to create 2 profiles, one to get connected to the server and one to play with online. It shouldn't be necessary but this is currently the only way to connect for a Wi-Fi match. The game is awesome on Wii, I really think everyone here will enjoy it a lot more than Goldeneye; it's just a very high quality game.

many are saying its poor graphically vs goldeneye and looks a step backwards to reflex rather than a step up IS THIS TRUE OR NOT if you own both copys please tell us the truth
I have both copies of Reflex and Black Ops on the Wii and Black Ops is hands down improved graphically over the former. I honestly couldn't believe my eyes in some parts of the campaign, it just didn't look like it was really running on the Wii. There is so much particles, smoke, fire and guys on the screen at once to go along with nice detail that it looks very close to the HD version of the game. Yes it still doesn't have the Advanced Shaders and HDR lighting or Normal Mapping but everything else is intact to an exact replica of the HD version. I'm extremely impressed.
I'm happy with my copy of the game but when i try to join a match it freezes the wii and i have to turn the whole thing off did anyone else have this problem? Just so you know i have played online like 15 matches just that trying to get into a game freezes it.
thanks metaldave,,, i did watch a wii vs ps3/x360 and i was pissed of at the blatent downgrading that doesnt need to be, like the way clothing is so different theres no excuss for that,but i felt it looked solid nether the less,my point being wii can do things they havnt bothered with,,anyway if its more polished than reflex and it also has voice chat so il get it soon THANKS DAVE...im enjoying goldeneye but its lacking something
For the freezing issue, do you have a retail copy of the game or did you download it? Don't take offense to the question since more and more people are doing this. If you downloaded and burned the game, then there is a chance that the game will freeze with a bad burn.
not just a bad burn metal dave, DS games can slow down glitch out and freeze because its anti piracy things that can tell the games streaming from a pirate device rather than a cart, as ds carts and flash cards load at different speeds,what activivtion have likely done is addded software that allows the game to know wen its on a home burn disc, or the copy that got uploaded to net now has a band code number....
its likely a anti piracy measure
ill wait a few days before buying so i can avoid issues
the red door thing in other m wasn't a code bug it was what i just described above and 99% of those with the red door were playing a burned disc,, then they complained HHMMMMMMMMMM... but some genuine copys had a issue sometimes the trick is too protective and stops genuine discs and carts too as has happened on DS in the past.....
No i don't pirate my games but this only an issue when i use a wired connection.
id love to see it at 1080p 60 frames and lots of AA¦filtering it would look great rather than the shininess of x360/ps3 versions,the gritty look at 60fps and 1080p would be great
Got Goldeneye and Black ops Goldeneye is the better game i mean better than 360 version of black ops way better the capaign in Goldeneye is so much better i cant explain and the hit detection in Goldeneye is tons better the production values in Goldeneye is better aswell Goldeneye is a better game Golden Gun alone beats Black ops period
im on final battle in goldeneye the level were you protect the girl at the consoles didnt make any sense whats so ever and the scipt was a joke she constantly contradicts her self listen to what she says PATHETIC
