Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles - new screens

Is it just me or is this game looking more and more appealing as we get closer to it's release? I guess that South American scenario really did make a big difference. From the trailers it also looks like it will have so much story that it will be hard to resist picking it up.

This makes me think resident evil 5 can be done on wii.

Nice that you joined the club. Cheers to all that already knew it could be done along time ago.

Loving the graphics... but, haha, they're going for the whole "Latin America is a jungle full of small towns"... so wrong...I guess they wanted to make more use of RE5 designs

The "outdoor village in broad daylight" level must be what CAPCOM/Cavia were referring to about a level that will blow everyone's mind? When I saw that screenshot I smiled to myself and knew it was just a matter of time that they will announce RE5 for the Wii. I'm planning to get a PS3 slim because of price drop but baby, I'm holding out for RE5 on the Wii! Dualshock doesn't do over-the-shoulder justice anymore! Maybe they'll announce Wii MotionPlus for Krauser's archery. Hey, a guy can wish - right? LOL.
Hey Metaldave - I'm looking into the Denon AVR-790 so I can play Wii games in all it's heavenly 720p/1080p glory! I saw some of those emulated RE4 720p screenshots and they look amazing! Thanks!

I hope the frame rate doesn't suffer cause of the excellent graphics like house of the dead overkill.

The framerate looks like it won't be fixed for release. So, it looks like that will be the Achilles' heel for the graphics. But, I don't think it's too distracting. As long as it can maintain at a steady 30 for most of the game., it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

house of the dead overkill had good graphics this has graphics that stand tall next to the best graphics on 360 grow up the HOD overkill cant even compare to these graphics what a silly statement this game has a very high polygon count on everything plus this is a game where graphics were as important as gameplay if not a little more important for atmosphere,i mean them characters must have 20000-25000 polygons each RE4 i think had 14000-16000 polygons on leon for example the backdrops are amazing show this game to your 360 friends they will be impressed the game has online MP,the AI gets harder if you play very well and so on,cant wait this and dead space be pure satisfaction

Dude i'm not saying HOTD has better graphics than RE:DSC just that When HOTD had way better graphics than its previous games and the frame rate suffered. so i'm just saying that i hope RE:DSC doesn't have that same problem because it has better graphics than the first and all the previews i have read and seen have said that the frame rate takes heavy hits when the action starts.
