Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles - video interview

At least he says that they are trying some new things with the "shooter genre" with the latest on-rails Wii game.

How are you enjoying Mad World guys? I for one am having a blast with it, I can't believe some of the gruesome stuff you can do (all in the privacy of your own home!). It's really a fun game and should not be missed by any Wii owner.

i am loving it and i almost feel like it is similar to de blob brcause you change the world a little bit. When your done between all the enviromental kills and just plain gore splattered around the map it feels like you have had your effect on the level. especially in the first castle level (the moon or the fountain my favorites).

i like it a lot i got resident evil 5 the same time and honestly i like MadWorld better resident evil just is missing something that 4 had, and the zombies or whaterever their called animations are almost the exact same as four's ive seen no changes. Its still a good game though just not as good as MadWorld

I just played Resident Evil 5, and I just have to say this...

I'm not depressed about Darkside Chronicles anymore because Resident Evil 5 is just a frustrating and mundane mess. The series obviously was going for an action route, but the outdated controls make it so hard for that to be prophetic. It's not a terrible game, and it has some things going for it, but the bad design choices, annoying partner A.I., inconsistent tone, and stale soundtrack left me out in the cold for this installment.

Personally, I don't think Wii owners should feel too bad. If Capcom is working on a "traditional" Resident Evil on the Wii then they should really... really revamp the gameplay mechanics. Good God!

I agree with Biohazard about Resident Evil 5. I don't have the game but I have heard that it does not out do Resident Evil 4 and that it isn't as scary.

Resident Evil 4 focused more on action then horror but it still had horror, like walking though the village at night or the creepy monks in the castle.

I don't know about anybody else but the horror of the series is replaced by action and thats not why I bought Resident Evil for the Gamecube back then.
