*Rumor* Factor 5 Lair engine tech demo on Wii

With the strong rumors that Factor 5 is going out of business (or pretty much already out of business it is not really official yet), seeing things like this make me a little sad. Will we ever get to see Factor 5's Wii games in the future? Is High Voltage and Capcom the only third party developers that will show what the Wii is truly capable of graphically? Lets hope that Factor 5 can remain a float or come back from the dead. Hey maybe Nintendo can "share the wealth" with Factor 5 and keep them in business.....

It is truly a sad day...I was really looking forward to their engine. I wish the development team well as employees and working people trying to "get through" during these times. Factor 5, you will be missed.
Maybe the Factor 5 engine will be utilized in other Wii projects.

Just when it was all looking good for the wii. It's a good thing the conduit and house of the dead are coming out still.

My question is what about Kid Icarus? It was widley known that Factor 5 was working on that with Nintendo.....maybe Nintendo will just absorb the workers from Factor 5 so they will still have jobs - that would be really nice of them - and they could still finish their work on Kid Icarus.

Factor 5 going out of business? I just heard about this now, and it looks pretty sad. Although it's a rumor from what I just heard, I don't think it's far off since alot of other gaming companies are getting under the weather with the financial crisis; Midway Studios experienced the worst yet.

I hope their done with the engine enough for other developers to use it.

When did Factor 5 shut down?

I never saw this news mentioned anywhere, is it just a rumor?

Sure is sad if it's true, I thought the strong were supposed to survive...

Hmmm capitalism has got it all backwards. I think Adam Smith and Darwin should have a talk...

factor 5 don't need to return .the teams on wii exclusives could be made into a new dev house like nintendo rescued retro studios or even a nintendo second party look at the damage ps3 and poor business decisions are making why did you back ps3 factor 5 why couldn't you see your error there everyone seemed to know wii would be number 1 all except 3rd party devs or they did and tryed to kill the machine the consumer wanted witch is sheer ego and fantasy for the 3rd partys to do YOU DONT MESS WITH NINTENDO INDUSTRY UN WRITEN RULE
