House of the Dead Overkill debut trailer

Great classic B movie horror film style and of course all the Zombies you could want. Everyone seems to love the Wii but they love it even more when you can shoot Zombies....looks great! Are you excited for this game?

It looks like a lot of fun, but I'm afraid it might be too shallow to want to play through more than once, therefore making it a waste of $30 or $50 or whatever they're deciding for the price tag, unless it's like $15. And there are a lot of other games on the horizon that I'm planning to get, so I think I might just wait to see if the game's any good first and then my cousin will probably buy it and I can borrow it from him.

In the interview at IGN with Sega concerning this game Sega hinted at not using the Nunchuk since it would get in the way of holding other guns. He wouldn't go into specifics but duel wielding is looking like a big possibility and that is something to be excited about.

This doesn't look like it is going to be just a couple of hours of blasting, I bet you Sega will take what worked with REUC and use some of that formula to make House of the Dead Overkill a longer game that previous versions.

I personally was hoping for gun compatibility and not another cursor gun game like RE:UC. I prefer my light gun games to be more like a light gun and less like a computer mouse.

I have the NYKO Perfect Shot and having a cursor on screen defeats the point of owning that. Let's hope they have another mode for Zappers or this could pass by my radar, which is a shame considering this game looks pretty good.

Well I think you can turn the cursor off right?

Oh and I do hope the gameplay is as or almost as deep as Umbrella Chronicles, cause that game actually felt like you had to think about where you were shooting and what gun you were using. Of course, I wouldn't mind if it was a little bit easier though, cause UC is a freaking HARD game. (or maybe I just sucked at it, lol)
