The Conduit new gameplay video/screens

If you compare the new screens (like the first shown here) with the older screens of The Conduit, you can see that Normal Mapping is now fully implemented and it makes the enemies look way better than shown before. Like I said in a previous post, the textures needed work and it looks like they've fixed that problem and now the game looks extremely good. Whats great is that they still have about 8 months of development time to go (!) so the game will continue to improve graphically as we near the release date early next year. Hyped?

Oh, I'm hyped now.

If they can improve the environment and add as much visual flair to the character models during those 8 months, the Wii may have the best looking game yet.

I'm pretty happy with what they've done with the Normal Mapping and Shaders on the characters, the only thing that can still improve like you said is the environments. They don't look bad by any means but they can look better to match the character detail. Overall I'm really excited for this game.

After watching the new video I am more psyched for this game than any other on the Wii. The game looks fluid, the animation looks quite a bit better than it was (though it still doesn't look physics based on the enemie deaths), and the energy level looks high. Add multi to this and hopefully some unlockables of sorts and you've got a great game.

The textures on the enemies looks very reminiscent of early 360 games. They are almost too shiny and too slimy looking now. The normal mapping is almost working too well.

And I feel the graphics will not improve as great as you guys may be thinking in the next 8 months simply because the director guy said most of the team is moving on to the multiplayer aspect of the game.

Either way, I am stoked to try this game.

Yes the developer did say that they were moving to the multiplayer aspect of the game. However, he did also say: "polish, polish, polish" so I take that as making the graphics even better or fine tuning the graphics more.

I don't think it will look drastically improved but sometimes the little details are what make the difference. See Metroid Prime for a good example of that.

can i start by saying first day buy?
also damn this game looks so good it reminds me of Perfect Dark 64 a lot.

i think the "polish" statement has to be for the environments because it has to match the guns and the enemy's a little more.

HYPE!!!100%

OMG! FACTOR 5/E3 WOW!

that in motion at 480p with some polish is going to look great just hope the whole package is that good

Wow!!! Now these screenshots make me say WOW! I have been showing my gaming buddies the tech demo, trailers, and screenshots just to prove what I always knew. From the latest screens, I think the naysayers should agree that the Wii is:
1. NEXT GEN.
2. capable of PS3/360 "like"
graphics but running at 480p.
3. not underpowered.

Now I'd really like to see what Factor 5 and Capcom has in the works. It' a good time to be a gamer!
