Comparing this game to the original is like night and day. The lighting, shading and polygons have all seen a big boost. These new screens also show much improved graphics over the previous build of the game shown months ago.

The graphics have seen many improvements over the months. The vehicles are very detailed, and the water has reflective surfaces.
Everything seems to be improved but yes the most looks to be the vehicles and lighting/refections. The characters do look better just not as noticeable as the above.

Can't say about the unit models.
