First Soul Calibur Legends screens

I think the game could be really good. The guys at NeoGaf are always overly critical of everything so if you read the forum link to the scan don't be too discouraged. Potential is always a good thing.

I'm going to say firsthand that this game is going to suck!

Here's three simple reasons:

1. Death by Degrees

Death by Degrees is, if you've been living under a rock, an action/adventure spin-off to Namco's other popular fighting game, Tekken. The game fairly hyped because of it followed a popular franchise until critics and reviewers were disappointed with it by the bad gameplay, horrible graphics, long load times, and glitchy camera. Like Mortal Kombat: Special Forces and Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero, this game was proof that fighting games should always remain as fighting games.

2. It's made by the same guys that created Death by Degrees

Do I really need to explain this one?

3. It's not Soul Calibur IV

This game has just been recently announced for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and reports have been confirmed that Namco is putting all sorts of effort into this game more than anything.

Another table scrap game for the Wii. I'm appalled that developers aren't taking the system seriously!

hey, dedaration no disrespect to you, but you base your liking of jumbo trash, haven't played it, as to even give it a chance. How about playing it first regardless of past games like this one. Then you can base your opinion.

Declaration you fail:

"Jin Okubo and Tetsuya Akatsuka have been with the series since Soul Edge fwiw. Okubo directed SC2/3 and Akasuka co-directed SC3 too... guess we can officially kill the Death by Degrees talk."

"Soul Calibur Legends is being produced by Jin Okubo and directed by Tetsuya Akatsuka, both familiar names for the series. In comments with the magazine, the two revealed that Legends is designed to be a game that will allow anyone to experience 3D sword combat through a simple control scheme."

Soul Calibur Legends is being made by the same exact people who created Soul Calibur in the first place, I think it has potential to be great. Will it? Wait and play the game.

Death by Degrees? Wow. Oh how the internet can spread false rumors in a hurry.
