Wii60 the system of choice?

It seems the trend is that most people are going to get a Wii after they get an Xbo360, or vice-versa. This trend is becoming more and more accepted because the price of the PS3 is going to be about 3 times the price of a Wii, and the likely hood of people getting a PS3 and Xbox360 together are looking slim.

Peter Moore from Microsoft seems to see the relevance in this too.

My friend, I couldn't agree with you more. In my opinion a Wii, Ds lite, and PC IS all you need. The purpose of my post is to show that a lot of people are going to buy a Wii, and it could end up being market leader when all is said and done.

In my opinion Microsoft is not a gaming company, it is a corporation that is only interested in making money. They will "me too" as much as they can to turn a profit, with so far they have yet to do.

In fact one could ask why Microsoft even entered the videogame business? They have lost millions and millions of dollars. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think its actually billions dollars they have lost on the Xbox line.

So until they start making a profit, I don't see what all the fuss is about Microsoft. They really can't compete with Nintendo's money making brilliance.

end of story.

I'm with the Wii60 movement because of the PlayStation 3's price. I was about to get all three consoles, but I'm not too enthusiastic about a console that costs $500-600, and I'm intending to wait a few years until it lowers to a more reasonable purchase. Plus, there isn't much I'm looking forward to besides Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Assassin's Creed.

I already have an Xbox 360, and the Wii will be my second console of choice in the next-gen. Sony can kiss my ass if they think I'm going to spend $200-300 more on a gaming console.
