New Nintendo Patent another NX controller hint?

Wasn't I just talking about a controller that wouldn't interfere with how modern games are created too much, but only make the current control setup better if the developer wanted it? This looks like it could be exactly that, hopefully Nintendo goes forward with this idea of Mouse Wheel/Trackball/Touchpads on the trigger areas of the next controller. This could be another big hint at the final NX controller.
