Here is a direct music comparison between the original Gamecube version and Wii U HD version. I'm actually surprised that Nintendo remixed/re-did the music in the HD remake - something that wasn't actually needed but definitely makes sense in 2013 with all the fully orchestrated music tracks found in video games these days.
