The wonder and beauty of this game has been unmatched so far in my playtime with it. I'm about 11 hours in and it just keeps getting better with bigger areas to explore. The grand scope of this game is far beyond a game like Zelda or even some of the Final Fantasy games, you truly feel like you are a part of a living world that exists inside your Wii. That's the best way I can explain it....
If you have just started the game, I suggest doing most of the side quests in the first city before moving on so you can unlock "Shield" for the Monado sword. You will need this to fight some of the more powerful monsters in the earlier parts of the game and if you rush through it you'll have a hard time surviving.
