Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop - new screens

At least the bosses in this game support more detail than the horrid looking zombies. It's a shame that Capcom is making this game a lot more close to Resident Evil 4 than the original Dead Rising with the focus being more on guns than objects. If they wanted to do Resident Evil they should have just done that instead and not forced this strange port and completely change it. Resident Evil 5 can't come soon enough (for Wii).

If all of the game looked like this I would probably buy it at full price. Capcom could be putting on the finishing touches.

Changing the game to feel more like Resident Evil 4 will only effect the people who played the original Dead Rising, as for me the story and gameplay is new.

Honestly it could be better if this version never exist.
Good controls are not enough.

I honestly hope that this game surprises me because right now I'm not expecting anything special.

It seems they are "tweaking it up" a bit...I will buy this - I'm just not too excited about it. LOL.
I wonder what improvements they were able to squeeze out of the RE4 engine?
By the way, I tried playing the 360 version and I enjoyed the first 10 minutes, but I actually held off getting into it because I am planning on getting it for the Wii. I bought the Wii at launch, and have since prefered the Wii remote over joypads. Spoiled by RE4?

To be honest, as a huge RE fan, I will buy the PS3 in March just for RE5, but I do not look forward to playing RE5 with the dualshocks.

Having played the demo for the 360..I was really not impressed. I too have been spoiled by RE4 controls, it honestly felt archaic going back to dual, and honestly, the experience did not leave me wanting much more.

Granted this is just a demo, and if it doesn't come to Wii it most certainly is coming to PC, which I may or may not get.

I hope they've found a way to fit more zombies onto the screen, cause if the final game comes out and there's only like 20 zombies roaming around the mall, it won't even feel like Dead Rising.

I have to say, these screens are looking much better...textures and lighting have a grittier feel. The clock is tickin' though - what do they have...like a month to ship out the game?
