Tenchu IV gameplay video

This game is looking like a lot of fun to me, it is using a first person sword attack mode that you see later in the video that is similar to Red Steel but it seems to fit this game a lot better. I'm also liking the many different executions you can perform. I have a good feeling that this will eventually come to the United States since most of the other versions have in the past.

This game, for some reason, is giving me some Rogue Agent vibes, if you guys remember that game. It is one of my most loved "everyone but me hates" games so this could end up being a show stopper for me. The one thing that keeps me doubtful is the constant Wiimote waggle to get your character to roll around. That seems like a move you use a lot and one I don't want to have to waggle for. Maybe I'm wrong, I hope I'm wrong.

I too, have a bad feeling that the waggle for rolling might be bad, but we'll see. And the sword fighting does look interesting, shame you can't dodge and move around though.

Why is waggle for rolling bad? Sounds like fun to me, maybe that is just me. lets give it a chance to see how it plays out.

I can't really make a real impression about waggling for rolling being bad just yet but I really don't want to be waggling for every movement. I am of the mind set that most actions should be buttons and stick while the big kills and fighting stuff should be motions.

I am loving the first-person fighting though. Nice to have another option than just dying like the older games.
