Details:
- Main character: Ray
- Ray lost a friend/co-worker, Steve
- Ray is trying to save Steve’s sister, Lisa, from kidnappers
- Ray has to deal with natural disasters, as well as a nuclear threat from a terrorist group
- Move with analog stick, point with Wiimote to aim, B trigger to shoot
- Ray can stop along the way to help people that have been hurt
- One level has Ray escaping a tsunami via car. Steer the car ala Mario Kart Wii
We are all just waiting until Nintendo blows the lid off this game so every little bit of news is big until that time comes. I've always been quietly looking forward to this game ever since it was announced back in 2006.

What the hell are you talking about? Gate what? I don't see any game called Gate for XBOX 360 or Sony PS3. Are you talking about GTA IV or something? If so; why should I care? I don't like M-rated titles anyway. Most of the public is so pissed of this title that GTA IV isn't going to sell long term like a lot of Wii titles are. Anonymous; I think you are really paranoid. It's funny how none of you are even talking about Disaster: Day of Crisis.....hahaha GTA IV? Well, did you expect anything less than a 10 even if the game has bugs? It sounded like the guy at IGN was giving it a 10 rating just for the sake of fanboyism. You can't have glitching and buggy gameplay (even if it is only a little bit) and give a game a 10. Super Mario Galaxy didn't really have anything wrong with it (they complained about the camera a bit, but really it was not an issue at all) and it got a 9.5, it goes to show that some reviewers just shouldn't be reviewing games since they score with their emotions and not their brains.
I know MetalDave. I should be commenting on the game at hand and I apologize. On topic: Disaster: Day of Crisis certainly looks like it is going to be one of those sandbox titles ala Grand Theft Auto IV (minus the excessive violence and sex) and the premise is quite interesting. I just hope that it plays well enough to be a success because we need a mature title like this that won't tick off the mainstream like GTA IV seems to do. If this game turns out to be M-Rated; I might even change my stance on playing M-Rated games in general.
As for the graphics; they are fine. GTA wasn't a success for awesome graphics (compared to other games on PS2; they were not so hot); it was due to gameplay and it's content.
D:DoC is going to be great.As for GTA4,It looks like crap(sorry,but I don't much care for the aiming system or the cliched caracters)D:DoC looks like it'll be up there with LoZ:TP,MP3:C,Super Mario Galaxy,and Resident Evil 4:wii edition.Definetly a triple-A title(at least it better be with all the time they put into developing it!)
