Metroid Prime 3 to have much upgraded graphics for 2007 release

"The build of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption seen at E3 is being completely spruced up for its 2007 release and will look MUCH more impressive, rather than merely a shinier edition of MP2 from the GameCube."

So I guess the delay of Metroid Prime 3 had much more to it than just letting the Third Parties have some of the cake for this holiday. I think Retro may have been getting tired of people saying it looks no better than Gamecube(it did, but they didn't really give credit). We'll see how it pans out.

I thought it looked good the way it is. While I do want to see some huge visual upgrades, the Prime series should have graphical familiarity with some pretty stuff here and there. I think the next Metroid series should have the biggest upgrade of them all.

If the Wii can punch out graphics better than what we've seen on The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (which is being upgraded), then Wii-owners should be in for a real treat.

Ubisoft should take note of this and delay Far Cry: Vengeance for not only the graphics, but for overall polish. Also, add in the damn Map Editor.

Oh god yes, Far Cry needs to be worked on. The frame rate was not good in that trailer and the graphics just looked like they were missing some elements, just "off" ya know? I hope they can at least smooth out the frame rate in time for the December launch(if they don't delay it further)

Since the game was announced back in late Summer or Fall 2006, I think Ubisoft should just delay the title as far as 2007. Besides, we've already got Red Steel, Rayman Raving Rabbids, and Splinter Cell: Double Agent to occupy ourselves. No need to put all the eggs on one basket.

And also, can you reduce the videos by linking them. For some reason, your site has been extremely slow, with some annoying temporary lock-ups.

My guess, the game was held back to stagger the release of the AAA titles a bit and Retro decided to make good use of the time. I doubt they are holding it back for graphical upgrades as much as they are upgrading the graphics because they have more time now.

Also, with regard to voice acting, I hope they do NOT include it. I like the style of the current games and voice acting would seem out of place to me. Thats just my take on it anyway.

the graphics of this game are next-gen, like Xbox360 graphics....

it's awesome what Wii can do!! :)
